Welcome! I'm Lauren Ollivierre - the creator behind CocoaSoul Canvas!

 

I consider myself a creative jack of all trades - someone who, over the years has pursued a variety of artsy endeavours from make up artistry, to cake decorating, to drawing to jewelry design.  But in more recent years, painting has really taken center stage and become something I cannot live without!

One of my big passions is making art feel accessible to everyone! I strongly believe we are ALL artists at heart, born to express ourselves creatively. Which is why during my paint events I create a fun and nurturing environment and encourage any and everyone to unleash their inner artist and feel confident with their self expression.

 

I'm Canadian born with parents hailing from the small Caribbean islands of St. Kitts and St. Vincent. A self proclaimed "Island Hopper", I've travelled to many islands across the Caribbean and even spent two years living  and working in Trinidad in the 2010's.

Feeling a strong connection to my roots, much of my artwork pays homage to Caribbean culture, traditions, landscapes and people. ​
